CalendarA Sub-dial or window that may be magnified which display the day, month and/or year.
ChronographA chronograph watch that contains a "stopwatch" that can be started and stopped to time an event.
CrownThe tiny knob on the winding stem used to set the time and possibly the day/date function.
CrystalThe glass or transparent cover which protects the watch dial.

Water ResistantA water-resistant watch can withstand water pressure up to a determined depth. These watches can be worn in the shower or during casual swimming, but is not recommended for serious diving.
MagnetismA strong magnetic field can affect the time keeping and may even cause the watch to stop. Be aware that hematite stones have this magnetic force.
LinkThe connecting segments that make up the bracelet of the watch.
